Daily standups used to feel unnecessary to me.

Then I started working on systems where multiple moving parts depended on each other constantly.

Backend APIs. Blockchain watchers. Liquidity services. Mobile flows. Webhook handling.

Suddenly, small communication gaps became production risks.

I realized standups aren’t really status meetings.

They’re alignment meetings.

Sometimes one sentence from a teammate saves hours of debugging or prevents architectural collisions before they happen.

Engineering scales better when communication scales too.
